EMMA GOT BAPTIZED!
Elder Brown, Ken, Emma, Friend, Me
Brother Harmer her home teacher baptized her. We are working on Dad… It was a really great day, she came out of the water and giggled as if the spirit can just tickled her. She’s getting confirmed this week because we had stake conference on Sunday.
Nothing can really top this…
Ken the little brother is 7 and wants to be baptized on his 8th birthday. He’s so cool.
A less active member we’ve been working with lately, Phil. He’s really cynical, but he decided he wants to start housing the missionaries. It would be so cool to live with him. He’s really a good guy on the inside. He’s been coming to church lately and has really been working to get more active. We’ve really seen some good changes in him. And I’m cooking him dinner tonight. ;D
But Elder Brown and I have help everyone in our teaching pool who can be baptized right now to get baptized… We’ve been really working to try and find new people to help. A lot of dead ends… but the work of salvation will move forward!
The Apostle Stephen, of the New Testament, is one of my favorite missionaries because of his strong faith, he literally kept his eye single to the glory of God all through his ministry.
“When they heard these things, they were cut to the heart, and they gnashed on him with their teeth. But he, being full of the Holy Ghost, looked up steadfastly into heaven, and saw the glory of God, and Jesus standing on the right hand of God,”
Through the Good and the bad we can look to the Lord and find peace. Stephen found himself so at one with his Fathers will he was able to forgive the people who were about to take his life.
“And he kneeled down, and cried with a loud voice,Lord, lay not this sin to their charge. And when he had said this, he fell asleep.”
Let’s be strong see people as they really are, children of our Heavenly Father, and see things as they really are, always a blessing something to help us grow into what we must become.
Love you all!
